BACKGROUND
In order for us develop more sustainable ways of living we need to bring about changes in understanding, changes in attitude and changes in behaviour. At Bright Future, we believe that change begins with education, so we have a developed a comprehensive education program aimed at developing bright minds for a bright future.
CONCEPT
The Bright Future Education Program is a sustainability education program for Levels 1-4, incorporating English literacy, mathematics, science, social science and ICT. The program teaches students about global warming, renewable energy and sustainable living practices through activities and enquiry-based worksheets.
DESIGN
The Bright Future Education Program has been designed for teachers, by teachers. With over 20 years of experience in primary teaching, Program Director Ros Molloy is well aware that today’s teachers are often short on time and short on resources. That is why she has created a complete program, so that teachers can concentrate on what they love to do best: teach!
The program is an integrated whole curriculum that spans planning, blackline masters and answer sheets to assessment tools and supplementary materials. It can be used over 3 weeks, or extended to fill an entire term. It is also flexible enough to meet the needs of students at any level of development.
